2024 – 2026

Deputy Head Teacher — Academics & Organisational Improvement

The Amazima School, Uganda

  • Led a team of over 60 teachers and managed a budget of approximately US$2.5 million, providing people leadership, resource oversight and performance accountability across the academic function.
  • Translated institutional priorities into academic operations, staff-development plans and measurable follow-up actions as part of senior school leadership.
  • Coordinated performance management through lesson observations, coaching, structured feedback and improvement plans.
  • Used learning outcomes, staff-performance information and operational reports to set priorities and monitor implementation.
  • Led resolution of complex academic and operational issues requiring stakeholder consultation and clear communication.

2019 – 2026

Learning Management System (LMS) & Student Information System (SIS) Lead

The Amazima School, Uganda — concurrent appointment

  • Led planning, implementation, testing, course setup, user enrolment and ongoing administration of institution-wide LMS and SIS platforms supporting approximately 125 users.
  • Trained 62 teachers in digital learning technologies, assessment tracking, reporting and communication workflows, and delivered 3 dedicated AI workshops for educators.
  • Supported the transition from paper-based records to digital, searchable systems, improving accessibility, retrieval, continuity and institutional resilience.
  • Collaborated with IT on system configuration, updates, data integrity and security; produced participation and performance reports for leadership decisions.
  • Applied prompt design and iterative AI workflows to strengthen lesson development, research, content creation and staff productivity.

2021 – 2024

Director of Studies — Academic Programmes, Data & Operations

  • Designed and managed the master academic schedule, coordinating school-wide timetabling, examinations and reporting cycles.
  • Managed academic records and reporting processes, strengthening accuracy, completeness, confidentiality and retrievability of student information.
  • Facilitated cross-functional faculty meetings on learning quality, assessment and student progress; documented decisions and tracked follow-up.
